Ellis Island: An Interactive History Adventure
This text incorporates historical events and facts into stories that happened to real people. This book focuses on immigrants arriving at Ellis Island, but it's up to the reader to chose the point of view to take. The story will progress for a few pages and then the reader must make a decision about the path they want to take. Then, the reader turns to the page directed in the book and sees what happens based on the choice made. The reader will choose whether to be a Jewish youth leaving the violence of Russia in hopes of a better life in America, an Italian teen who lands at Ellis Island during World War I, or a German immigrant who faces deportation? What path will you choose?
